So, my takeaway from that reading is that they have spare land and are putting in strip-malls and storage units. Just what we need more of.

It ain't affordable housing that's for sure.
Personally though I don't have a problem with new development. Better to have a city businesses want to invest in rather than one that they're leaving.

I think it should our spare undeveloped spaces that are not fit for building housing on should be turned into more natural spaces with native trees and plants to help with air and water quality. We have so many native trees and shrubs in Missouri that are absolutely beautiful

based on those images, it doesn’t look like SRC employees will have enough space to park unless their parking isn’t pictured
