I know Metagames has a lot of tables and regular groups playing. You might check out what they have available. There is also a Springfield D&D Discord channel you can check out! Just DM me if you are interested and j can shoot you the link.

I'm feeling this, too. Tried the Metagames scene, but couldn't find a scheduled play that worked (ie too often).

I'm in the same boat. I've only played a couple of times but ended up dm'ing done one shots at home

I'm also not sure how to make a character. I'm terrible at math and would need some help.

If it does go anywhere, might be worth looking into D&D Beyond, it's an app that does the math and die rolls for you.

The paper character creation is what always intimidated me, the app makes getting started so much easier.
