This happened to my Fb but not in 2 hours, more like a day. And when I tried recovering it, it banned me again because the phone number they setup for 2 step authentication is a period rather than a phone number, so I can’t get my code and it banned the account again.

Who did you contact for that? My Facebook got hacked and since I am on a new phone from the last time I logged into Facebook it won’t recognize me and locks my account again. I’ve gone through the recover process like 4 times where I send them requested documentation, they I lock it, give me a code and then I get locked out again. My hacker has no problem accessing my account and posting comments in some Asian language when it’s unlocked though

I didn’t really contact anyone tbh. I don’t know what caused them to send the recovery a second time but replied to the “no reply” e-mail and also doing this link directly from Facebook that went something along the lines of “account disabled by mistake?” And I had to upload my ID and put my full name. I’ll link it if I find it again
