It’s the android paradigm. All the segmentation makes it hard to integrate across manufacturers, and the one company that does make the full stack is basically famous for buggy software and killing products. Pixels have had trouble for years, even ignoring AA

Ah. Pixel. Bought mine five years ago. It was great for a few months. Then they killed off Google Play Music and updated it until it was useless. The hardware was solid so they destroyed it from the inside. Good times.
