I mean teslas still absolutely kill them in battery tech, efficiency, and build simplification. To the point that even Toyota is copying their strategies and building techniques.
I think the industry needed new blood to move things forward.

The industry definitely needed a push. Ford, Toyota, and the European luxury brands are absolutely going to kill Tesla though lol.

Yeah, the push was deffo needed but Tesla will for sure get slaughtered by other brands. The Mercedes EV prototype was ballin'. Still waiting for any new hydrogen tech though. Batteries will be a nonstarter if you want to electrify the worlds car fleet.
