Code for: Musk needs money now that he put Twitter on the Amex

SpaceX ran lean, and like many tech startups they loaded their compensation packages with stock to retain employees instead of paying more cash that they couldn't afford. At some point you have to allow those employees to cash out, which they can't just do on their own with a private company.

We are about to see a whole lot of SpaceX millionaires, and we're talking engineers and such, not just executives (of which there are few anyway).

If an UNBIASED valuation of Space X was made today WHAT would it really be worth?

Im happy for all the engineers and such, they did things no one was capable before and even changed American laws because their product was so good and cheap in comparison, that America needed to do it. That’s so well done. Instead of more Elon bashing, lets take a minute and think about what Tesla und Spacex already accomplished for the human race. Elon was a bigger or minor part of it, but he was a part of it and I genuinely think that it is worth something, that he never settled for less but always strive for more.
