A Hyundai E-GMP based vehicle can go 310 miles then charge 70% in as little as 18 minutes. Even if you charge 30 minutes after 4 hours of driving, that's a regular lunch break.

Might not be the worse thing in the world to force breaks. The number of times I have had a nearly exhausted driver is kind of scary. They literally brag about how long they go without breaks sometimes. Like my dude just take a fucking cat nap and eat a sandwich. You are not a machine.

I do road trips and it is great to stop, charge, and stretch every two hours for 20 minutes.

Uber been doing it forever. Meanwhile they only now started allowing EV with rental partners. No Tesla though

Seems like it would limit the driver's distance and ability to make money. They can't drive all day like normal, they would have to stop and wait for the car to charge up, possibly several times a day, and lose out on fares.
