It does take a master to defeat a master. If the country that brought us covering up Unit 731 and millions of war crime victims can't put down a little misinfo what is the world coming to?

Misinformation commission, sounds like a propaganda department. Didn’t they have one in ww2?

If anyone can do this, it’s them. The head of that department will probably be ready to perform a seppuku if they accidentally publish inaccurate information.

The Japanese conservative party employs troll armies to discourage and muddy dissent online. I'm sure they'll be the first to go. 🙄

If the Japanese conspiracy theorists are anything like the conspiracy theorists in the USA, then there is no hope of getting them to believe the truth. A rotted brain cannot be salvaged.

I'm working on a piece where this is a thing. Tokyo Rose isn't a foreign concept to many who know of Japan's history with propaganda. Seeing as though many things in Japan are slowly going to back to their pre-WW2 elements it's surprisingly fitting for them to create a ministry of truth just as they've back the Zaibatsu in their rise to create the Keiretsu Crony structure that exists today.
