I know of those alternatives but if I want to see things like soccer and nba
You need to specify if you want to watch specific things (like sports). Sports are never included in the cheapest packages. Otherwise, the cheapest television options are still free (other than equipment).
Depends on what soccer you like?
EPL = peacock
UCL/Serie A= paramount +
La Liga/Bundesliga = espn +
Liga MX = you’re fucked
MLS = Apple TV
NBA has their league pass for all teams/all games which got discounted in price massively this season. Maybe it’ll stay at the new lower price for next season.
*all these still require a cable or cable like service for ALL games.
I guess I'm fucked, not for Liga mx but for ucl epl and laliga

The internet is free
No it isn't
You can always tell the people who aren’t paying for their own internet lol. That shit is just cable money without the cable so you might as well just get cable/internet package. At least that’s how it is where I am.
Depends on what you need. Was paying for both. But we'd just watch steaming stuff. So now we just watch streaming and I spend the $100 or so we save every month on other ways to entertain us
piracy

TubiTV and Pluto TV, both free
TubiTV has all of Columbo, so that's all you need to know how great it is
Yep. And Columbo's picture quality is better on Tubi than Peacock.
Because Tubi.TV freaking rocks. Old & new arthouse films, old & new exploitation films, old & new prestige tv, soap operas, etc.
Possibly dumb related question. Is C Band satellite still a thing to get cheap TV?

Get an antenna. Over the air TV is still a thing.
There are also free ad-supported streaming services like Tubi and freevee.
