Has anyone seen 'The Watcher'? Is it actually good or is it like every other Ryan Murphy production where it kind of falls apart halfway through and then goes batshit crazy?

It reminds me of "The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window" but sadly "The Watcher" isn't satire. I'm three episodes in and I'll probably finish it but I wish I had never started it. It's really cheesy imo.

i wish it was satire, it would make the show a lot more bearable.

I was intrigued enough to finish it in one sitting. It’s based on a true story though that wasn’t solved, so don’t expect a satisfying ending. My sister called it “Red Herring The Show”. Great cast though.

That was my reaction as well. He introduces so many plot elements and almost all of them are completely unnecessary and/or irrelevant. It's like he's never heard of Chekhov's gun.

It was like Chekhovs gun but no one knew who the hell Checkhov was.

It had potential and never pays off. So a Murphy special.
The couple in the house run around accusing everyone but the crazy lady and her crazy brother across the street.

I didn’t like it. It fell flat for me

People are infuriated with the end. For me the show started a little slow, got better for a couple of episodes, then went off the rails and into absurdity the last two.

Fell apart after an episode or two.
Just because something actually happened doesn’t make it believable or compelling story telling.
Great cast. Decent premise. Absolute fumble of an execution.

I thought it fell apart about halfway through the second episode and then became tedious and boring, but otherwise correct.
