I think Mike White is simultaneously critiquing and reveling in these people and this world. It doesn't have to be one or the other. It can be both - and I think this is very common among artists.

The first season was one of my favorite shows ever to come from HBO, and that is saying a lot given the quality they’ve put out there. Can’t wait to see what this one brings, how do you like it so far?

I liked the first episode of season 2 very much. It felt very much like season 1 in a good way. The characters are fun and the locations are breathtaking.
