It's a comedy. Things aren't always meant to be realistic. In fact, sometimes they exaggerate them and that's literally the whole point. Really sorry about your husbands hurt feelings though but you should both grow up and realize Italians aren't off limits from being made fun of. Your leader just appointed a guy who wears swastikas. You're very easy to make fun of.

The whole world, including Americans, regularly mocks Americans.
