Mike Ehrmantraut, BB/BCS. Scariest, smartest old man ever

Robert McCall, The Equalizer. Not as old, but if he told you he'd throw you out of a window, he'd throw you out of a window; and your cat

Gannicus from Spartacus. To give Romans a mention, Crassus was equally badass (not as skilled, but who is)

That show is built for streaming. The thing is Season 1 is pretty realistic and not very high budget. Jack spends more time running away from situations rather than shooting his way out of situations. Season 2 he becomes the man we all love, the guy that will literally kill you if you get in his way.
