Since Netflix wants to do advertising, in the UK it has had to register with the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board, or BARB, our official ratings people.

Shouldn't media companies, or maybe Neilsen Research, have gotten together with companies like Roku and Google to implement a reporting system with their TV streaming devices to be able to detect ratings?

It's not like something like the Oscars, has the need for the voters to see every movie either (they don't give a shit about watching even half of the ones they're voting for).
