I cancelled Netflix. I don’t have Hulu, Amazon, Discovery+, or Peacock either.

All of them!
Netflix
>for reasons I won’t explain here
Does it have anything to do with Lightyear or Strange Planet?
We cancelled Netflix because I realized we hadn't used it in the better part of three months.
Any that I have to pay for. There are so many free streaming services with quality content, it’s pointless to me to waste money every month on one. If there’s a movie I really want to see that’s not available on a free streaming provider, 9 times out of 10 I can find it at the Redbox to rent or just buy it at the store or online and have my own damn copy lol.
HBO Max and Hulu. Couldn’t stand the ads and didn’t want to pay more to get rid of them.
All of them.
I can't do ads. Life is too short.
Everything but Tubi
No it doesn’t have to do with their representation.
Who said you have to watch them lol? I usually go start a load of laundry, pick up toys for a few minutes, or grab a beer and a snack.
I honestly don't use Netflix or Hulu.
Netflix will be gone if they truly crack down on password sharing.
Netflix is the only service that I do keep all the time; they have far more originals coming out all the time that I'm interested than any other service.
I find it really weird that you're starting a discussion topic on canceling streaming services by saying you won't discuss why you canceled a streaming service, but okay.
I canceled HBOMax initially because it was a bit too expensive. I wanted to get it back before the ridiculous stuff came out about their merger and what they're planning on turning HBOMax into. Now I won't give them a dime.
Coincidentally, I also canceled Discovery+ before that. I really only used it for Battlebots and Mythbusters. There was too much reality show and TLC stuff to wade through to be appealing to me otherwise. Even at $5 I couldn't justify continuing to pay for it. Now, again, I don't really think about going back.
HBO Max because it's only downhill from now.
Why wouldn’t you explain a Disney cancellation? Is there something about the platform that would prevent someone from wanting to get it?
disney+ cuz none of the content is interesting
Exactly why we cancelled ours
I don't know why, but this feels more like market research. Which is okay, if that's what you want. I'm just left with a disingenous feeling.
very likely Strange World / Lightyear given their election-denying post history and not wanting to say why
We canceled everything and haven't honestly noticed
