I guess it came out a while ago, but not having regular cable, I had missed it and just saw it on AMC+. Hubby and I both really enjoyed it. Similar to The Terror. Colin Farrell is nearly unrecognizable. So very different than his character Padraic in Banshees of Inisherin. Filmed in the furthest north location of any movie ever made and the cast spent a month on an old ship out there while filming.

I haven’t seen the show but I read the book. Does the show have as big a focus on anal trauma as the source material?

I never thought I would be seen as an expert in such a subject, but here are. I'm sure my mum will be proud.

In my review of the first episode of the TV show, I said:

> Book to TV Adaptation

> The killing and post-mortem rape of the young black boy is omitted from the TV show. My thinking is that the murder of the Shetlander was enough to show what kind of a man Drax is.
