I was excited to see the new Wednesday show. I heard a lot of people watched it and knew Tim burton was tied to it. But after watching it. It lands smack dab in the OKAY category. It has that Netflix show feel. Nothing exciting about the camera work or the writing. It’s all safe and bland. Doesn’t mean the story can’t go to “shocking” places it’s how they execute those plot points that make a show safe and they definitely do it here.
I did do some digging on how a show with Tim burton tied to it could still have this result. If you look up the writers and cinematographers, you can see they are kind of generic hires probably from Netflix that ended up helming the show. Tim Burton is mostly here in name. Sad to see.
