Buddy, if this ends your friendship, it wasn't a friendship worth having.

The point of friends is that they forgive and support.

Then they will understand and forgive... Jeez guy... What's the alternative? Stay quiet forever and have to pretend "oh wow colours!??!"

You have to know than they'll probably joke about it for the rest of your life, at least i would.

He could get the glasses and then say he doesn't like the feel of the glasses.. he could also say that he's not used to the colors and it feels weird etc.

But you know, the truth is more important.

I lost an entire friend group over a false accusation from someone else in the friend group who was the actual culprit. They believed him instead of me. Yes it was very traumatic but I’m glad I don’t hangout with those people anymore. They’re all shitty people going nowhere in life anyway. You’ll get over it eventually if you lose them.

One of my dearest online friends was a girl for the first several years I knew them. Then they admitted their lie. After asking if they were trans (they weren't) I accepted my dear friend as who they actually are. We met a few years ago in person. Still a friendship that's going strong.

I mean has your “color blindness” affected anything in a serious way? Like did they go out of their way for you or did they pay for you?
