When we moved to Georgia from up north, my mom made the mistake of wearing pants to a southern Baptist church. Pants were how you didn’t freeze your ass off up north. Apparently not the same rational down south. It was the late seventies, so didn’t expect this would be an issue - let’s just say that church didn’t work out.
