I used to blow people's mind when I told them I lived north of the majority of Canada's population when I lived in Northern Wisconsin.
Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and all their suburbs are south.

Over 50% of Canadians live in a small pocket called the Quebec City - Windsor Corridor.. You can drive from one end to the other in about 12hrs.
Canada is mostly empty space.

Part of Wisconsin is east of Florida. Pretty neat to go on Google maps and click the latitude and longitude.
