I actually was injured by falling anvil in real life as a young child. No memory of it whatsoever but I understand my finger was pretty flat.

From what I've learned, it was "decoratively" balanced on a wall and I liked to climb things. So it may have been airborne for a moment or two in transition.

Malcolm (?) Or Seward (?) Nebraska used to launch these every year. Never went but heard about it. Not sure how far away they kept the crowd but always seemed like "yeah that's too close" when people would talk about it.
