I’ve always wondered if Sea Turtles are endangered why we don’t gather up like 1000 babies and escort them past the beach and shallows and let like half of them survive. We could repopulate the numbers pretty quick.

Programs do that.

When I was a boy scout we had a trip to Florida to do exactly that.. but unfortunately they didn't hatch in time.

Couldn’t this potentially cause issues for the species that rely on the hatching of sea turtles for food?

Give them sardines instead of endangered turtle. It’s a once a year event so I don’t think any species relies on it like Bears gorging on salmon for the winter.

One reason is that it would breed dependency on humans into the turtle so that future generations would be even worse at reaching the water by themselves.
