Double TIL for me. I had never heard of 1-800-OPERATOR. I always used 1-800-CALL-ATT. Checked the article and learned that what I was using was what AT&T created in response to the misspelled redirect to their competitor.

I would use that also. I would just tell the message in the "call from" part, like hey pick me up.
