My only thoughts about this: I had a show to do that night. I asked my SO at the time to please tape it for me. When I got home, I discovered that he had taped over the only existing copy of my senior thesis production. Since it was a limited week run, there was no way to ever replicate the performances. He didn't last long after that.

TIL: The final night of women's figure skating in 1994's Winter Olympics is the 6th highest rated TV broadcast in US history. Remembered for the Kerrigan-Harding subplot, 48.5% of all households with a TV watched the final. Since then, no other broadcast has matched that rating.
