Silverchair were all 15 when they recorded their first major album.

I was born in 1986. My sister dated one of the guys from this band when I was real little. I have photos of him at one of my toddler bday parties. I also had a few old Death Angel tshirts that my dad had held onto, which I eventually sent to my brother.

I don't know a single one of their songs but apparently he was a nice guy so I always like seeing their name pop up on the internet.

The Ultra-Violence was an underrated debut. These guys should have been bigger. Just saw them with Exodus and Testament and they still got it.

I'd never of guessed that listening to that album. The singer sounds a lot older.

I wonder if they toured at the same age? Like, can you imagine being a horny, coked-up 14 year old going on tour in the 80s? It's like every teenager's wet dream.

I would imagine they did for getting themselves out there and promoting their music. How'd he get into the venues at 14? What a fucking time to be alive seeing crazy shit and touring with other thrash metal legends.
