the saving grace in Cali is that we have breweries and wineries everywhere you turn.
In the 60k large town I live in, we have 85 wineries, 6 breweries, and 2 distilleries.

I just went to a place about 10 miles south of downtown Sacramento that had a whole bunch of wineries’ tasting rooms gathered in one building. It was a good way to spend a Monday, and close enough for a Lyft there and back to not be ridiculously expensive, but I can only imagine the madness that must ensue there on a Saturday
