I saw the documentary about it on CNN. It looks like a nice idea. Have you visited Denmark?

Pardon the intrusion, but I have and I loved it!Walking the city was easy and fun. Copenhagen is picturesque with the colorful buildings along the harbor, the palace and the changing of the guards, cobblestone streets, floral vendors with abundant displays on street corners, and the famous Little Mermaid. The food was delicious especially the quick sausages from carts along the street. Tivoli is there if you go when it’s open. I did not. It was fun to take the ferry across to Sweden and walk around. I wanted to visit the WW2 museum, but I hit the city during a strike, so the museum was closed. I did travel by train to the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. That made up for any losses imposed by the strike. That museum is a must! Thanks for allowing me the space to share my memories. Maybe you’ll go someday? I hope you do!

Christiania - an artist commune and “green-light district” - is a must-visit and, if you are looking for a top-notch culinary experience, the NOMA fermentation lab (restaurant, too) is expensive but well-worth it. On the nearby Funen island, you can visit the H.C. Andersen museum (Odense) and one of the oldest intact viking ship burials left at its site of discovery (Ladby).
