don’t drive in the snow, especially at night, unless necessary.

don’t drive in more than ~1/2” of snow unless you have experience.

drive a 4WD or AWD vehicle, if possible.

whatever the usual “cushion” you leave between you and the car in front of you is normally, triple it (If you have experience in the snow, double it).

drive slower. If you feel slipping, you’re too fast.

snow tires or new tires help.

ignore the occasional aggressive drivers trying to make you go faster (They know how to drive in the snow, you don’t).
