Muck boots

Absolutely. Muck boots with fiber embedded in the neoprene lining so you can easily slip them on and off. They don’t have to be expensive. Maybe put in some foam insoles too. Only place I found them near Burlington was Tractor Supply.

being able to easily slip barn boots on and off is an often-overlooked attribute - but it makes all the difference

Muck boots are my main footwear for like 7-8 months of the year. As long as you dry them by the stove in the evening you'll avoid having swamp foot

I wore llbean boots for 20 years until they wore out. Now I wear a pair of yellow rubber boots from Target bc they make me feel happy

Tractor Supply used to sell some inexpensive neoprene boots. I've had a pair for 5+ years.

dang - I wear mine out every year (some sort of crack appears that lets in water) and it's not like I'm a real farmer. I must walk weird or something. I've tried several brands and it doesn't really seem to matter.

Maybe I got a good batch but also I only wear them like 20 times a year. Only thing I don't like is that they're heavy.

I have several pairs of mud boots, I like bogs for the barn, Xtra tuffs for everyday and blundstones for work.

I don't care for mucks but everyone swears by them, and they do have a decent warranty.
