Not sure if this is the right subreddit but looking for some advice. I’m a Canadian (currently based in Montreal) with an American husband living in Vermont. I was recently granted a greencard and had planned to move south but a great local work opportunity has presented itself. It would require me to be on-site in Montreal 2-3 days a week and I would bounce back and forth to Vermont. The confounding factors are citizenship and the associated tax considerations. In order to keep my greencard, I think I need to spend more than half the year in the US and pay taxes in Vermont. If the new job would be hiring me a Quebec resident, can I make this work? Do I need to disclose spending the majority of my time in the US? Would I be putting the greencard at risk? How would this work tax-wise?

Sounds doable but probably better to ask a lawyer than to ask Reddit?
