I've heard nothing but good things about Pinnacle but I gotta say I wasn't stoked with my experience there. The people were very kind and seemed very knowledgeable, but I went there and was basically like "I don't know anything at all about how boots should fit" and they said "very snug". I said "to me, very snug is how tight my rock climbing shoes fit. Do you know how tight those are and should they be that tight or like... less tight than that?" and they said yes, my boots should be as tight as climbing shoes.

So anyway, long story short, I have permanent vascular damage in my toes now and can't ski anymore.

This is a high school basketball game, not an MMA match.

If they want to talk about fairness, whatever. But "safety" has absolutely nothing to do with it, and I can 100% guarantee that coach would have no problem if their team wanted to scrim against the boys team once in awhile for practice.

I'm of the opinion that if you aren't getting what you paid for, that's a legit thing to call in. You gave them money and didn't get the service you requested. I wouldn't say "come back and plow again you missed a spot", but I think it's fine to say "hey y'all missed a big part of the drive today, can you make sure to get the (whatever they fucked up) next time?"

If the job was done correctly but in a way that you disagree with, that's kind of a get the fuck over it type of deal. Sand too close to your boyfriends car? IDK, if there's not any damage I think he just needs to park his car where it won't get sanded or go sand that area himself so the company ignores it. How do you even plan to fix that? "Hey, this one house on the route of 80 houses you plow wants you to sand three feet further from the passenger side door of their car". Like... you might not even have the same driver next time. I think that feedback just falls flat due to it being impractical. Nobody is going to remember where you wanted your sand dropped.

If it was something big, like having your lawn landscaped or your house painted, sure. But that works because companies sink hours of labor into those jobs, not minutes. This is like asking your postman to deliver packages a certain way. You can try, but you're going to get what you get at the end of the day.

Eh. It has decent pizza, it's certainly not atrocious, but it's not "incredible" by any stretch. Pretty much every other state in NE has better pizza than VT does TBH.

That's not to say the pizza in VT isn't worth eating. It absolutely is, and I enjoy eating it. But that's more because pizza is great and less because VT pizza is great.

Kens and Ida are dogshit (mostly because they're owned by absolute dipshits), so anything other than those two.

My favorite is Pizza 44, but, honestly speaking, there's no spectacular pizza anywhere in Burlington. It ain't NY or CT, the best you'll get is a pretty decent slice.

But OP never made the claim that actions taken by Vermonters will change anything. It's like me saying "gun violence is a problem" and someone else saying "well hey, tell me what defunding the police has done to help that". It's a straw man--OP has made argument A and you're turning around and saying, hey OP, argument B sucks.

OK. You're the only one talking about argument B here, though, so you're just kind of arguing with yourself.

It was great in Burlington but absolute garbage outside of Chittenden County. Dropped it because the coverage was too inconsistent and they nuked my number on the way out for some reason, so now I have a new phone number too.

If you're going to stay around Burlington go for it. If you travel around the state at all I'd avoid it.

homie nobody here has any idea what a nurse that works with your wife meant when they said VT has a "certain type of people". If you don't know, and you know your wife, how tf would we ever be able to figure that out lol

If you're thinking of moving here, just visit for a bit.
