On my newer car which is under warranty I still have extreme anxiety about failing because it’s a huge waste of my time. Basically an entire morning of my life not to mention cost. I just replaced 1 year old rotors because I knew the dealer would fail them (I had my own ran post about it ha). But I bring it to the dealer because car is under warranty so if it were something larger and they failed it they would have to fix it for free. So if you can afford it on a newer car , bring car to dealer that gives free inspection where you bought the car ( I made the mistake of buying car far away ) and car under warranty and it’s mostly their problem. With only a few exception items.

On my older car I go to an small local independent and let them know I do 100% of the work on this car please let me know if you see something and I’ll plan on fixing it myself.
