So since we’ve passed in October, anyone have any cool or whacky leaf peeper stories that they want to share (or get off their chests)? We all have them I’m sure.

Whats funny is a lot of state parks are free. But the super popular ones are paid to control crowds and fund themselves.

The undeveloped state parks (there are over a dozen) are generally unstaffed and don't have fees. https://vtstateparks.com/other-park-lands.html

One of my employees was driving through the notch on the way to work and there was a person laying in the middle of the road taking pictures upwards.

I was over in Jeffersonville and I saw a leaf peeper with New Jersey plates driving well over the speed limit upside down and backwards in an SUV that ran on reruns of 60 Minutes.
They came to stop in front of a newly built net zero flattop, each member of the family covered in a not-no-subtle glisten of maple syrup and Hill Farmstead Double Barrel Aaron.
As the two children frolicked in the new fallen leaves, oranges and yellows sticking to their beery skin, their parents explained to me that this was their newly purchased home.
They had also recently purchased the Penny Cluse building on Cherry Street and offered their detailed plans to turn it into one luxury studio apartment with a first floor storefront specializing in CBD ski sharpening, an anti-snow tire political think tank, crudely painted roosters on antique windows, and organic candy sourced from farm-raised vegetarian sweetbreads.
