I never see anybody working there (maybe working below)…

I was gratified to see the governor get stuck in the traffic over the weekend. Things tend to move when the boss experiences the misery.

Update several people directed me to a VTrans update that indicate people are working 24 hrs/day, 6 days per week on the project as well as a VTrans site indicating it is expected to be complete by November!

They do the work at night. I think the timetable is sometime next year. To be fair to them this wasn't planned. A sinkhole opened up in the southbound lane.

They’re working down below so you probably won’t see them from 89. I believe most of the culvert pieces are in

Definitely did not see anyone when I drove by yesterday at around 5:45. I can say, though, that very few people actually understand how to use a zipper merge as everyone just moved to the right lane incredibly early and I must have passed 50 cars up to the merging point.

Nobody ever sees anyone working there because they’re in the bottom of a hole that was 80 feet deep. Last week there was a crane with an 80’ boom that was barely sticking out of the hole. They are working on filling it back in 24 hours per day, six days per week.
