I’d say you’re lucky to not yet understand why that’s a bad idea. Conditions change around every corner. The hills are steep and class 3 roads are barely usable when the storm has just hit. Even with studded snows, and chains, you’re bound to find yourself in a situation that will have you wishing you stuck to the paved roadways, or home. It seems that with elevated temps this year, paved roads will remain greasy the way we typically see them early and late season. That’s some white knuckle driving alone. Bundle up and take to your feet, or a true snow vehicle.
