Great capture! Something about dragonfly larva creep me out way more than actual dragonflies. Especially when they are submerged in brackish water and you just see furry little creatures skittering about.

Thanks! I actually didn’t know it was a dragonfly larva but my co-instructor (I filmed this at a field ecology course that I teach every summer) knew it and recognized that it was about to emerge. It took about 45 minutes.
