Thanks, I did not touch option but I did leverage cfd as a trial. Tried different strategies but I was not capable to execute it as plan.
Can you be my therapist ?
If you’re using astrology (TA) to make investment decisions then you’re going to get fucked no matter how much DD you do

You don’t know how many times I told myself the same thing after getting liquidated. But I always come back the next monday with my paycheck to play the same game.
5x leverage?
Jesus Christ
At least you learned your lesson.
Those are rookie numbers. You haven't even lost 4 figures yet
You lost $900? Them rookie numbers. C u tomorrow
Yes, unfortunately I’m in need to find a source of income soon, and desperate times causes high risk taking

I cut my losses too and I’m checking out of wsb since I’m too sensitive to buying stock on internet whims.
My leftovers will go in to funds. Boring but hopefully not -90% results anymore lol.
Gambling on credit isn't an income

Yes, my plan is to find a proper job and put a portion in a mutual fund
i've lost 5 figures
My bank said otherwise
Can’t disagree, I was tempted by the idea of day trading and using 5x to quicken the earning process. It was a bad decision but I don’t regret as it was a needed lesson that I won’t repeat
Are you crying over losing less than a grand?
Yes, because that’s a lot to me at this moment of time.
I did not use TA for most of them, I read the news and DCF. First strategy was to target companies with low cash flow and high debt, which kinda work. The second that caused me all the loses was TA, so you are right. Or maybe it’s because I’m not experienced in TA; who knows.
Sounds like an okay-ish approach without the TA but you’d need to learn a lot more about the fundamentals and really get across their financials more. TA is all bullshit because you can’t predict the future by using charts as the scales can be so easily manipulated to suit your hypothesis on what’s going to happen
Yes, I learn it the hard way today. I’m well aware that the approach is not perfect, as I was experimenting and iterating strategies that looks plausible, but today’s loss was purely due to greed; as i was up £300 at the start. So regardless, I realise at the moment I’m still way too bad at trading
You know that 212 earns 90% of its money on cfds?
Yeah, I know the risk associated with Cfds. And I couldn’t find another platform better than 212
It doesnt matter what platform it is. CFDs are banned in USA. That should tell you something
Yeah, now I know. I was enticed by the leverage, and I couldn’t find a platform that does option initially (but now I do know about Plus500). So I thought why not give Cfds a try, and was told that they use the spread from Bloomsberg so thought it wouldn’t be that bad, I was wrong and lost money.
