Listen folks EVs won’t be charged in the future on the go. EV “ gas stations” will be battery ports you swap your batteries for full cells at a cost. This was teslas original idea and concept for their cars to have modular battery packs you can swap out in minutes at tesla stations across America.

Issue is we don’t have the ability to make that much fucking batteries

Even if batteries r hot swapped, they will wear out over time and the "Gas stations" will need to recycle the worn out ones and buy new ones. We cant just produce new ones forever, they require very limited rare materials.

For now. I think a new source of battery’s will be the future not the lithium ion we use now. Like how we went from copper sulfate to nickel iron to alkaline to lithium ion. Progression to a non degradable source.

This is the NIO model, which seems to be quite efficient and actually works, however, I suspect it’s more applicable in huge cities.
