A 25 bps or less hike and even mention of a pivot this year will be a death sentence for middle class and below from housing POV. Or Powell needs to work with someone from gov to drastically increase housing supply.

I think Powell will do 50bps. He should. Crash the entire investment housing market.

I think things will be relatively steady for the time being, and we may even see a little drop off by summer.

.25 is expected, but what people really want to know is what is the target after that?

They probably should do .50 and then monitor after, but they don't have the balls to do that.
