A couple of times now I've seen a cat hanging out behind the construction barrier on 7th St SW by the skinnier FAA building. It's a grey cat with green eyes and seems friendly enough (I'm alergic so didn't touch). I was wondering if I should call animal control or if this is a known office cat? I saw some open cat food cans so it may just live there?

Edit: Thank you all for the advise! Sounds like the cat is a taken care of stray and since it’s not doing anyone any harm can leave it be.

Unless the cat is directly being a menace to you I'd leave it alone. Did you happen to notice if one of the ears was clipped ?

That usually means it's a stray/feral that has been neutered/spayed and is taken care of. 🙂
