I need to pick up a car in Richmond Saturday morning. What is a reliable bus I could take down? Are there any Amtrak or VRE trains that go early Saturday as well? Thanks!

Sometimes I wonder if people actually turn to Reddit first for this kinda thing
Constantly

Amtrak
ride a bike
That would take forever
...Forever is not long enough
Take the train Alexandria to Richmond
Flix bus $35
Yes I know how to use google thanks. I was hoping for insight from DC residents who may make that trip semi regularly about things that Google can’t tell you like which buses tend to actually run on time and which don’t. Won’t make that mistake again.
It was the "Are there any Amtrak or VRE trains that go early Saturday as well?" in particular that made your question seem very, "is this the Google?"

Watch this:
"Does anyone have any tips on a good bus that runs ON TIME from DC to RVA, or any other thing they have used that they like?"
Not
"Is there a bus this Saturday AM that would go from DC to Richmond"
it’s a relatively short trip with DC as an end stop for both rail and bus. you shouldn’t have problems with timeliness with either, barring bussing during rush hour.
I would have lead with this.
That being said, I have a buddy who lives down there and he does both the bus and Amtrak. For him it is which ever is cheeper and works with his schedule.
