fly around and kill shit from the sky. But i guess you got a point haha. I just imagine a small fleet of trained pilots will be able to pick off enemies much faster

Learning how to do that in a F-16 takes time the AFU just don’t have. Not worth the cost when better and more reliable methods exist and are already guaranteed in the aid packages
