It's actually really funny because if China now does send "lethal aid" (aka weapons) US intelligence looks impressively accurate & if they don't The USA goes "great I didn't want you to send shit anyway."

Exactly the strategy they played against Russia at the beginning of the war. Honestly pretty effective

Rallying Europe time and time again, effectively releasing / declassifying information, forcing nations like China and Iran to take public positions... It's like the US joined alcoholics anonymous, showed up at poker night sober for the first time ever, and no one has a clue what the fuck is going on.
After decades of supposed failure of American diplomacy with Russia, NK, and China, we're starting to see something very, very different.
Seems like the US needs an actual crisis, or it starts doing random shit like Iraq. The state department must be thrilled to not have to make up shit about WMDs.

Basically the west has to keep the USA entertained, or it ends up doing silly shit like invading Iraq then pissing off again. Now is the time to let the eagle loose for abit and spread some of that sweet democracy.

Iraq was hardly “random shit”

You know they’re lying when they’re accusing the other of misinformation. They want to control the narrative.
