Stuff like this is very real and has impacted many forces in many areas. This is one of the several big reasons why true military grade drones are superior to commercial retail stuff. If this was a DJI thing this would’ve also impacted the Ukrainians.
This is also a logistical issue that is unique to modern times. Real echelon forces ideally perform updates on all electronics before they are pushed forward to the end user.
