Isn’t this what any country does? Not sure why it’s headline news
Will soon be illegal to protest in my country (UK) so that’ll be fun

I doubt the UK has the resources to enforce any kind of ban on protest, when even countries built on militarized control aren't able to.
It would be a great opportunity to try out the wide variety of tactics being used in more authoritarian countries, such as holding up blank pieces of paper, using silent salutes, or intentionally farting next to government officials

You have to be a full on CCP apologist to suggest they extend China goes to stop protesters is “what any country does”. China is currently now tracking down protesters and threatening them. UK has freedom of protests, China will send you to prison for holding up a white paper.

So you're saying it will be illegal to just simply go outside with a poster to protest? And the UK is every country as well?
All countries do have some limitations on protest -- but come on, you are seriously a CCP apologist to suggest UK and every other country is on par with China on their limits of protest/assembly.
