Yeah, and a decade ago it was laughable to consider Russia any kind of threat to U.S. allies.
We should have learned by now that the only option is to exterminate risks immediately, rather than letting them fester and eventually become global crises, especially when dealing with non-democratic regimes.

Russia still isn’t a threat to US allies. We are not friends with Ukraine. They are not nor have they ever been out ally. They even tried joining NATO awhile back and their application was rejected. If not for the fact that Ukraine just happened to be West of Russia we would not be providing so much support
