Do you really need an ambassador to China who is supporting Putin with trade, oil purchases and material?

But for China, Russia would suffer sanctions and war would be over rather than a stalemate.

If I remember then China has invested A LOT of money into Ukraine before the war and China is one of the key trade partners for Ukraine as well.
