Reply to comment by saywherefore in ELI5: Why are contactless payment methods faster than inserting the chip? by jimmysofat6864
not to mention the fact that if you put the chip in you actually have to select which account you're using and then put in your pin, which of course will take more time than just tapping the card to a screen

netflix explained: credit cards also mentions how if enough customers are using credit cards they have to raise the prices for everything to account for the fees
make it easier for everyone - use cash or debit!

who are these people? i've never met someone who does that
the ear canal is connected to the nose and throat tho and if you go too deep it may irritate the system and ur body might cough to try to get rid of the irritant, but again i've never heard of this

unless you actually have a plan in place they usually aren't actually allowed to hold you against your will like that
like if they ask if you have suicidal thoughts and you say yes they'll ask if you have a plan in place or an idea about how you'd do it - thats the part you say no to even if you do

but of course, most people arent spending more than a couple hours at most in the rain, and are hopefully drying off after, so it usually doesn't actually get you sick

when you insert your card it asks if you're using chequing or savings, when u tap its directly from chequing
