Can’t emphasize enough the dry wood part. You should actually have two years worth of wood, in a rotation in which the newest stuff is drying out for a year while you burn the older supply, then in spring you order what you burned, and the next winter you burn what dried out the previous year.

I grew up with a bunch of cats, all outdoor cats. They all lived long healthy lives. Yes there is added risk but if you are rural don’t listen to the echo chamber, but also accept the risks of not only animals but flees, ticks, etc. and make sure they are getting to a vet regularly and stay up on vaccines.

It’s not that close to Burlington. But it’s not a bad spot if you want to be rural.

My point was more of “AWD doesn’t matter if all 4 wheels are spinning”.

This. AWD is awesome, but it comes second to actually having any grip to begin with.

Nice, I haven’t seen snakes in the wild in years. I wish I could feed him a nice mouse.

Hey! Stop being reasonable and balanced in opinion! There’s no place for that here in American politics!
