And since 2021 you can no longer cash checks at Dutch banks. Which in winter 2021 led to a bunch of post in Dutch subs from American immigrants asking "where can I cash my Covid stimulus check". Well, you can't. Not here anyway.

It's nonsense because OP's title makes it seem like this is all refugees but a lot of it is people from Western countries like UK/US/Australia/Canada, Switzerland, Norway. Which probably explains almost all of the top countries: Sweden has a lot of Norwegians, Cyprus a lot of Turks, Ireland and Malta a lot of Britons. Which has nothing to do with "playing a part".

This would be a great solution. Except for the fact that there is currently already a year + waiting list for heat pumps in NL because of supply chain issues. With parts coming from, among other places, Ukraine. And China which is still locking down cities every other week.

Yup. Right now Germany looks way denser than for example Belgium, but I bet that if you put them at similar scales it's more likely to be the other way around.
